Gilbert Beilschmidt had always been a close friend of yours and the two of you hang out whenever you had gotten the chance. However, when it came to being 'friends' at school it was unlikely that he'd pay much attention to you. The reason being that he and his friends Antonio Fernandez Carriedo and Francis Bonnefoy made up the group the Bad Touch Trio; a group of bullies of sorts. You didn't mind being ignored by him all that much during school as long afterwards, Gilbert belonged to you.
As usual, you were waiting for him outside of the school gates; you always liked waiting for him to part from Antonia and Francis. Hearing his usual 'kesese' type of laugh, you looked peered into the gates. A disheartened look crossed your face, seeing the platinum blonde German walking and talking with a girl. It wasn't that you disapproved of him having friends besides you, Antonio, and Francis but you had never expected that he would 'stand you up' for a girl. You backed away from the gates, hoping he wouldn't notice you as he walked by.
"Frau, you're getting to know zee awesome me, Gilbert. You ist being too shy." Gilbert said, cupping the girl's chin as they walked passed you. All she could was giggle and blush.
You narrowed your (eye color) eyes in anger. You didn't actually think he'd be flirting with her. Maybe you were just being jealous? It wasn't like you had actually told Gilbert how you felt about him, after all you were both men and just by seeing how he acting with that girl you doubted he liked you that way. You really wanted to throw something at that moment.
You lightened your facial expression, looking into crimson eyes. You jumped, moving back a bit and put your hand over your heart. You breathing was a little shaky from the sudden shock you had just received from your friend. "G-Gil? D-don't scare me like that."
Gilbert started at you for a moment before laughing. He put his arm around your shoulder, forcing you walk with him. "Vhat? I vas talking to you und you veren't listening. Vere you day dreaming, (Name)?"
You shook your head. You didn't remember him talking to you, only remembered him talking to that girl and it was making you angry. You looked at him, you (hair color & length) felling into your face. You moved away from him, pulling yourself from the grip he had on your shoulder. "You're lying, Gil. You were talking to that girl. I never heard you say one thing to me before my name."
He frowned for a moment, reaching out and taking a hold of your hand. "VHAT? True, I vas talking to her but I saw you und I changed my mind about it. She vas pretty pissed about it. It ist true, I vas talking to you for a while."
You raised your brow while listening to him; you still had your doubts about what he was saying. You pulled your hand back from his before crossing your arms. You looked away from him with a slight blush on your face. "Fine, let's go get something to eat and drink. I'm getting hungry."
Walking up to your favorite restaurant, you and Gilbert decided to sit down at one of the tables located outside of it. It was a nice a day and there was no reason to have to go inside. You looked at menu, occasionally look up over to see what your friend was doing before going back to it.
"What would you like to drink?" the waitress asked, holding a pencil and notepad.
"I'd like (your favorite drink)." You replied, looking at the waitress.
Gilbert thought for a moment, "Beer."
The waitress stared at the two of your for a moment, smiling and nodding before she walked off back into the restaurant to get your drinks.
"Vhy do you still have the menu up?" Gilbert asked, putting his hand on your menu and pulled it down a bit.
You shrugged your shoulders, "I didn't think it mattered, Gil. Maybe I'm still trying to figure out what I want to eat?" you replied, lowering your eyes back to the menu.
He furrowed his brows before pulling the menu from your hands. He grabbed a hold of his, putting them both on the table underneath of his arms. He leaned forward on the table. "Vhy are you acting zis vay?"
You stared at him, putting your hands across the table and tried your regain possession of your menu; not that you were doing a good job. After a while you gave up on trying to get it from him and rested your head on the table. "That girl…" you muttered.
Gilbert raised his brow at your statement. He was about to reply when the waitress returned with your drinks. "Danke." He said with a smile.
"Are you ready to order your food?" she asked.
"Give us two of ze specials." He replied, handing her the menus. She walked off once again. He looked back at you. "Now vhat about zhat girl?"
You looked up from the table, blinking. "Huh? Oh. Never mind that, don't worry."
Gilbert laughed his usual 'kesese' laugh, leaning down onto the table. "You vere jealous, ja?"
You quickly sat up from the table, you face completely red. "W-what?! That's a bold face lie, Gil!" you yelled, sinking into your chair. You felt rather embarrassed by causing a bit of scene by yelling out like that. You crossed your arms over your chest, avoiding eye contact with him.
He picked up his beer, opening it and took a drink. He held out his hand, pointing towards you. "You vere jealous that, I zee awesome Gilbert vasn't paying attention to you like I vas vith zat girl earlier today. Ist only natural zhat you vould be because I know zhat you like me."
You looked back over at him, frowning. You didn't think it was that noticeable that you like him or it was probably because you were always around him. "Ja, Ich liebe dich, Gilbert." You said under your breath, only hoping that he wouldn't hear you.
Gilbert stood up and walked over to you. He reached his hand out to you, grabbing a hold of chin and forced you to look at him. He leaned down and placed his lips against yours, quite passionately. Pulling back, he laughed a little. "Ich liebe dich auch, (Name). I vas just vaiting for you to say it first."
You blushed heavily before slowly putting your arms around his neck. "Does this mean we're more than friends now?"
"Ja. You're mein liebe…boyfriend." He replied, kissing your forehead.
